Finger Foods for Babies and Toddlers
Listed below are some delicious and nutritious finger foods that take little effort to prepare. For more recipes, see links on left and bottom of the page.
- Avocado, diced - Peaches, pears, plums; diced
- Bananas, diced - Beans, cooked (Black, Kidney, Garbanzo, etc.)
- Peas, steamed - Semi-soft cheese (pasteurized), diced
- Carrots, cooked until soft - Small, whole grain pasta, cooked
- Edamame, steamed - Sweet potato, baked and diced
- Green beans, cooked until soft - Toasted "O" cereal, dry
*For soft, slippery food like bananas, peaches or avocados, try coating with baby cereal for an easier grip.
